Psoriasis Treatment and Vitamin D
Psoriasis is a chronic disorder of the skin which results in thickened scaly red or silvery plaques which can involve the scalp, skin over the elbows or knees, nails, palms or soles or genital areas. Smoking and alcohol ingestion and even diabetes are common co-morbidities of psoriasis. A significant percentage of people with psoriasis develop a form of arthritis affecting the fingers, low back or large joints.
Homeopathic treatment has shown benefit in treating psoriasis and early treatment is recommended to prevent further sequelae.
